Dora Renaud, EdD

Dr. Dora Renaud currently serves as an administrator for the International Leadership of Texas. Prior to her current role, she served as the National Director of Events Programming at SHPE, overseeing the management of SHPE's Academic and Leadership Development events. Through her varied career, she has worked as a bilingual teacher, reading specialist, and curriculum coordinator. She has been an adjunct professor with University of Texas, Arlington, providing instruction to teachers of Dallas ISD in all areas of literacy.

Dora earned her doctorate in Education Administration from the Cooperative Superintendency Program at the University of Texas at Austin in 2014. She has a Master of Science in Literacy Development from Texas A&M, Bachelors of Science from Texas Woman’s University in Interdisciplinary Studies, Minor in Professional Education and a specialization in Bilingual Education. Prior to working for SHPE, she was a school administrator serving international campuses with students in the US and South America. She has served on the boards of directors for Papaya Tutor, Association of Hispanic School Administrators and Chess for Humanity. Dora is a former fellow of the Teaching Trust Executive Leadership Program and has served as a core faculty member for the American College of Education where she develops curriculum and facilitates courses that impact educators worldwide. She was awarded Administrator of the Year in 2013 and the Nolan Estes Ascension Award in 2014.
